Graham J. Murphy is a Ph.D. student in English Literature at the University of Alberta. His dissertation research involves the overlap of Science Fiction and Cyberculture and how both mediums reconfigure definitions of race, gender, and identity. In addition to his interests in the popular mediums of SF, Cyberculture, and Comic Books, he is also co-editor of Paddy Whacking, a forthcoming anthology of Irish material published in periodicals of the early American Republic.
